Eternal: Think About Me (JP CDM) (EMI, 1997)

Unique release from the British R&B band and issued as a double-A side with I Wanna Be The Only One with BeBe Winans in Japan. It was issued along with a I Wanna Be The Only One remix CD which had the exact same track-listing as the British release posted here. The above CD is special as the mix of Think About Me is different to the Before The Rain album version. It's more poppy and the spoken parts can be heard a lot more clearer.

NOTE: The two B-side tracks can be easily found on CD1 of I Wanna Be The Only One in Europe and feature Vernie and Kéllé singing lead vocals.

1. Think About Me (CM Remix)
2. I Wanna Be The Only One featuring BeBe Winans
3. A Friend Is A Friend
4. Show Me

Mýa: Fear Of Flying (Russian Bootleg) (2000)

Russian pirate release of Harrison's sophomore album featuring two unreleased tracks not on the official track-listing. The rest of it is pretty much the same as the original 1999 release but with the omission of the intro, the outro and the two interludes. The two unreleased tracks, Girls Like That (produced by Swizz Beatz) and Telephone Games (produced by Anthony Dent), were originally said to be Japanese bonus tracks but I have found no evidence that they ever actually were outside of a Wikipedia article. I believe that the origin of the two songs probably go back to this bootleg, which can be found on several Russian mp3 music sites, and possibly originated from a very early advance copy of the original album. Old but gold.

1. Best Of Me -featuring Jadakiss
2. Girls Like That
3. Takin Me Over -featuring Left Eye
4. Now Or Never
5. Telephone Games
6. Whatcha Gonna Do
7. How You Gonna Tell Me

11. Pussycats
12. Lie Detector -featuring Beenie Man

Lisa Stanfield: The Real Thing (Brazilian Promo CDM) (BMG Brasil, 1997)

Another rarity from Stansfield issued exclusively to the Brazilian market in 1997. A lot of stunning remixes here by K-Klass, Mark Picchiotti and The Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. The Dirty Rotten Scoundrels in particular were responsible for the bootleg mix of her 1989 song with Coldcut "People Hold On" which scored a number one on the US Billboard Hot Dance Club Songs in 1996. After the more contemporary R&B sound of her 1991 and 1993 albums, this is a well-welcomed return to the club music that first propelled her to stardom in the late 80s.

1. The Real Thing (Radio Edit)
2. The Real Thing (Mark's Radio Edit)
3. The Real Thing (Mark's Good Time Disco Vocal)
4. The Real Thing (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels Dub Mix)
5. The Real Thing (Mark's Shelter Vocal)
6. The Real Thing (K-Klassic Mix)
7. The Real Thing (Touch Mix)
8. The Real Thing (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels Vocal Mix)

Lisa Stansfield: Never, Never Gonna Give You Up (Brazilian Promo CDM) (BMG Brasil, 1997)

Rare import from Stansfield featuring remixes not on standard domestic releases by Frankie Knuckles, Mark Picchiotti and more. Tracks 1,2,3 & 4 remixed by Ian Devaney and Peter Morkan & track 10 recorded live at Riverside Studios, London, 1997.

NOTE: Knuckles' remixes differ slightly from the more stripped-down version featured on her remix E.P. "The #1 Remixes (EP.)" It features some alternate instrumentation and is slightly shorter. I believe that the mix on the E.P. was a re-edited version of this original mix though I am not exactly sure.

3. Never, Never Gonna Give You Up (Touch Two Mix)
4. Never, Never Gonna Give You Up (77th Heaven Mix)
5. Never, Never Gonna Give You Up (Album Edit)
6. Never, Never Gonna Give You Up (Mark!'s Transparent Vocal)
